Committee Updates
The Rally committee has worked on planning for the pizza party and has fun games planned for the event.
The networking team has been making Instagram Posts. This includes meeting the members, monthly calendars, and other things. They have also looked into adding more to the Facebook account for further publicity.
The test-prep committee has no recent updates, but will try and get a meeting soon to regroup.
For the careers committee, March’s interview was with Ashley Samson and is currently being edited.
Defender KY 3 Day Event
For the Defender event, we all agreed on volunteering on Sunday which is Showjump day. We decided it would be easier to eat lunch and group together before going to watch stadium, so we can socialize easier. Because of the timing, we will meet at 10:00 and it will be more of a brunch get-together. We will probably not all get the same food, so we discussed where we would meet. We thought the Bruce Davidson statue by the Rolex ring would be a nice obvious place and then we could go find a place to eat. We also need to consider whether we should coordinate buying seats.
Mini Rally Videos
We went over the different teaching positions available for the mini rally videos. These videos explain to people who have maybe never attended rally before what to expect and/or tips to help it run smoothly. Abbie B sent a google document over text with the different choice
